My life is filled with many thrills and other wild things. I am always busy whether it is sports or academics. My favorite thing that I discovered during my lifetime, is sports. At first I was a  cheerleader. While my sister and cousins played basketball on the other side of the court, I had to cheer for them. It got more and more boring as the days passed by. And every single day that they played basketball it made me more eager to play with them. I asked my parents if  I could start playing  basketball,  and  they  said yes. I was so excited to be able to play with my family. I played little  league basketball with my cousin for five years. My dad then found a travel basketball program that seemed perfect. He knew   I was ready to play travel. Because I started playing travel, I  couldn’t play little league basketball anymore with my cousin. Even though I was sad to leave my cousin and friends, I  was having so much fun playing travel with my new team. My coach made us extremely discipline with lots of cardio within the practices. The girls that I met on the team were very supportive and friendly. I loved them like they were family. I played on travel for three more years. But during those three years I discovered lacrosse. In the beginning, I was not really sure how to play or how to catch or throw. But with putting in  the work and hours,  I became  a lot better at it. I played the sport with my sister for a little and then she quit while I pursued playing. When COVID-19 hit, I could not play travel or lacrosse at all. I was so excited for that year’s travel season and was devastated to hear that it was canceled. This year while taking COVID-19 precautions, my school  basketball  team  and lacrosse team were able to play again. My travel team was able to as well, but there are not as many people that have been coming. Sports are a very big part of my life. Without sports I probably would not be who I am today.
