Tyler Chin-Lenn
Tyler Chin-Lenn is currently a student in the twelfth grade at The King’s Academy. He has been attending The King’s Academy for thirteen years; Tyler started at King’s when he was in kindergarten and has gone through his entire education career, up to this point, at King's. Tyler enjoys being a part of The King’s Academy Law Program, the TKA mock trial team, TKA Moot Court Team, TKA Empire team and the many musicals the King’s Conservatory puts on each year. This year, Tyler will take part in three musicals here at King’s: Aida, Hunchback of Notre Dame and Jekyll and Hyde. In school, Tyler’s favorite subjects are English and History. Tyler appreciates English and History because he is able to achieve success and it improves his skills in writing and innovative and critical thinking. After he graduates, Tyler hopes to pursue his Juror Doctorate and further his education to become a lawyer. A quote that resembles Tyler’s life and the choices he makes in life is: “Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time”. This quote is from Barack Obama’s February 5th speech to a crowd of constituents in Chicago, Illinois. This quote inspires Tyler to do everything he does for the benefit of others and help usher in a culture of acceptance and unity. During his spare time away from school, Tyler likes to watch TV, play video games, such as Fortnite, Madden, and 2K, and listen to pop and rock music. Some fun facts/things he likes are his Siberian Husky named Wolf, being a sports fanatic for the Boston Celtics and the New England Patriots, and music of all genres (except country). However, Tyler, also dislikes seafood, and felines/cats. Tyler’s best quality is that he is a hard worker and is extremely dedicated and passionate about what he does. His work ethic, passion, and dedication to his tasks carry over to the paper and allow him to produce the highest quality of work. His passion also leads him to help others and create a tight-knit group of friends that are also dedicated to the success of the Lion Ledger.
