The King’s Academy swim team have been working hard this season, striving to their monumental goals with the help of their amazing coaches and God beside them. Recently, on November 1st as a result of their dedication, they were able to display their hard work at the FHSAA Swim District Championships.
The boys and girls both performed exceedingly well, with both the girls and boys taking home the overall win. Not only did they just win overall, but many of our swimmers also achieved in their own personal events. Surpassing the competition in the 100 Breast at districts, Junior Drew McQueeney states, “It was an honor to take part in another TKA championship and continue the culture we have on campus of winning for Christ”.
The TKA swimmers continue to shine through their high school careers and carry these amazing memories with them as they go out into the bigger world. Team captain and Senior Tyler Wilkinson says, “Being able to win districts in my senior year was such a blessing. We had an amazing team, and everyone contributed to achieve this historic goal!”. Overall, the team’s commitment and success this fruitful season have been nothing short of a memorable achievement.
