Throughout the season, there have been many goals, passes, and penalty kicks, but they have all led up to this final moment—state champions. Since October, these amazing girls have persevered through the challenges and difficulties. They surpassed each and every obstacle thrown at them through injuries and difficult games. These girls banded together and collectively decided that this would be their year. That this would be the year they finally set school history and win a state championship for girls’ soccer. From Adeline Roach’s saving kicks to Sophia Cueto’s final game-winning penalty kick. These extraordinary girls beat all the odds and closed with a great season.
