Dads and Donuts

Dads+and+Donuts
Bella Mastandrea

Spending time with your dad and having fun while eating donuts sounds fantastic! This annual Dads and Donuts was another success for the Kings academy. Many of our Kings Academy students got to spend time with their fathers before school started and have a fantastic breakfast served by the King’s academy ambassadors.

Dad’s and Donuts does not just give kids the opportunity to spend more time with their dads; it allows them to meet their friends and get to know everyone in the King’s Academy community. After covid, unfortunately, gave Dads and Donuts a break, many fathers were happy to see it come back.

You could see fathers with work uniforms taking their time off for their children and enjoying the fantastic breakfast served. While it means a lot to our students to see their dads with them, it is also very important for the dads to show up, as Coach Greiner said:” I like to spend time with my boys, see their friends, see some of my friends that are other dads of the school and just have a good time.”
