Helen Popadic is a freshman starting her second year at The King’s Academy. Although last year she had yet to join any of the extracurriculars offered, this 2022-2023 school year she has become a member of the National Junior Honor’s Society, Art Club, Key Club, Junior Classical League, and now Journalism. During her 2021 school year, she participated in several art competitions where she had placed, and she is now excited to venture into the writing world. She enjoys reading and studying classical literary pieces and often writes about destinations and travel. As much as she enjoys writing she also loves learning Latin as she views it as a complex resource for further understanding of words. She often volunteers for animal sanctuaries in her area as well as beach and neighborly cleanups. Helen is excited to start the year with the Journalism club!
