Kate Goode has been going to The King’s Academy since eight grade as a part of the Half-day Homeschool Program. She switched over to attending The King’s Academy full time this year as a junior. In total, Kate has been at The King’s Academy for four years. She has participated in sideline cheer for both basketball and football and has also been a part of the competitive cheer team for The King’s Academy. In addition, Kate has danced all of the years she has been at The King’s Academy and even performed in the school’s production of Cinderella in 2020. Kate’s favorite subject is English because she enjoys reading and writing. She even spends most of her spare time reading with her dog, Boomer. Kate’s favorite thing to write about is movies. She loves watching movies and then, sharing her opinions on them through writing. Kate is terrified of snakes but sees them all the time in her neighborhood. She even had a snake in her hair one time, which was traumatizing. Kate likes utilizing her time and hates wasting it. She is a very hardworking, and would only present her best pieces for the paper. Kate Goode is thrilled to be a part of The Lion Ledger staff.
